All consultations are by appointment, which should be made during surgery hours. Please make a separate appointment for each person wishing to see the doctor.
You may see any doctor you choose, but it is better to see the same doctor throughout any one episode of illness.
All appointments are for a minimum of ten minutes. Most appointments are bookable in advance and there are also urgent and emergency appointments available on a daily basis.
Once a week, on a rotational basis on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings, the practice offers an extended hours surgery, between the hours of 18:00 to 20:00. This gives patients an opportunity to see either a doctor or a nurse outwith normal surgery times.
If you are telephoning to speak to a doctor, please be prepared, if necessary, to leave a telephone number so that the receptionist or doctor can call you back at a more convenient time.
Please notify reception when you are called for an arranged hospital admission. When you come home from hospital please notify the surgery and hand in any discharge letter, indicating to the receptionist if you require to be visited at home.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
